Welcome to Northwich Rowing Club!
Northwich Rowing Club offers an escape from the stereotype that rowing is a sport for the privileged - indeed we have a thriving membership from all walks of society. Based on the River Weaver in the middle of Cheshire, we are lucky to be able to train and race on a relatively sheltered 2.5km stretch of water largely unaffected by stream. Our location is handy for Manchester, Chester, Liverpool and Stoke-on-Trent, and we are close to major motorways. Our ever-growing fleet of boats is second to none in Cheshire, and accommodates Juniors, Novices, Seniors and Veterans alike; our highly respected coaches have produced several National Champions, some of whom have gone on to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games.
If you would be interested in joining Northwich Rowing Club, please contact the Captain - his details are on the contacts page. We welcome people of all abilities, and especially invite students to join us for the summer regatta circuit.
