Club Information
Welcome to Northwich Rowing Club. Originally founded in 1875, and affiliated to British Rowing, the national association for UK rowing clubs, the club has its own Boat House and Club Room situated on the River Weaver close to Northwich town centre.
The club’s main focus is fine boat racing; we have several squads, including a very active Junior section for under 18’s, Women’s and Men’s squads and we also row mixed crews for fun and in competitions.
We compete at racing events throughout the year many of which run in the North West region. We also enter crews in the larger nationally attended events which are held at locations in the UK and Europe.
The club is a Clubmark registered facility with an active welfare and child protection policy. Our coaches have nationally recognized qualifications, and we have good contact with local schools and colleges.
If you are an experienced rower please contact the Squad coordinator to make arrangements for an introductory visit to the club.
If you are new to rowing and would like to have a go, Northwich Rowing Club are always looking to introduce newcomers to the sport. For adults we strongly recommend that you follow this Learn To Row and book on to the Learn To Row course. Under 18s please contact the Junior Squad by following this Junior Squads.
